Who are we?

The website mylittleconcept.com (the “Website”) is published by Régine GROEPPELIN, sole proprietor, trading under the business name “My Little Concept” (“we”), 24 rue Nicolas Appert, 33260 La Teste de Buch (see our legal notice).

We are the controller of the personal data of our customers and visitors (“you”) collected via the Website. This Policy explains what data we collect, why, to whom we disclose it, how long we keep it, what your rights are and how we use cookies. It supplements our legal notice and our General Terms and Conditions of Sale.

We invite you to reread it regularly. In the event of a significant change, you will be informed on the Website.

What data do we collect, and when?

We collect your data when you create an account, place an order, browse the Website, subscribe to our newsletter, etc.

The data concerned includes in particular: your identity, your contact details (delivery and billing address, email, telephone), your order history, your exchanges with us, and browsing data (via cookies). We do not have access to your full banking details: payment is processed by our secure payment provider (Prestashop Checkout).

Where information is mandatory (for example to process your order), we tell you so. Without it, we may be unable to act on your request or your order. Optional fields are left to your discretion.

Why do we use your data?

  • Customer and order management – basis: performance of the contract. Creating and managing your account, processing orders, delivery, payment, invoicing, returns, withdrawals, guarantees and after-sales service.
  • Legal obligations – basis: legal obligation. Accounting, retention of invoices and contracts, responding to requests to exercise your rights.
  • Fraud prevention and management of unpaid amounts – basis: our legitimate interest in securing our sales and managing disputes.
  • Customer relations and information about our products – basis: our legitimate interest in maintaining the relationship with our customers: relationship follow-up, satisfaction surveys, communications about products similar to those you have already purchased (you may object to this at any time).
  • Newsletter – basis: your consent. Sending the newsletter and tracking subscriptions and unsubscriptions.
  • Handling your requests and your reviews – basis: our legitimate interest in responding to your requests and in publishing the reviews you entrust to us.
  • Audience measurement, improvement of the Website and targeted advertising – basis: your consent (cookies, see below). Monitoring traffic and visitor journeys, improving content and displaying tailored advertising.

To whom do we disclose your data?

We do not sell your personal data. It is accessible or transmitted only to the extent necessary for the purposes above:

  • internally, to the people who handle your requests and orders;
  • to our technical service providers: the Website’s hosting provider (OVH), payment provider (PrestaShop Checkout / PayPal), email service providers;
  • to the carriers who deliver your orders (La Poste / Colissimo, Mondial Relay), who receive your name, your delivery address and, as applicable, your telephone number or your email;
  • to social networks and measurement services (Google, Meta / Facebook, Pinterest) when you accept the associated cookies or use the sharing buttons;

Some of these providers (for example Google, Meta or PayPal) may process data outside the European Union, in particular in the United States. In this case, the transfer is covered by appropriate safeguards provided for by the GDPR.

How long do we keep your data?

  • Customer account: as long as your account is active, then 3 years from your last activity.
  • Orders, invoices and contracts: 10 years, in accordance with accounting and commercial obligations.
  • Payment data: for the time necessary for the transaction. In the event of a payment incident, for the time necessary to handle the case, plus the applicable statutory limitation period.
  • Requests, complaints and reviews: for the time necessary for processing, then archived for the applicable statutory limitation period.
  • Newsletter: until you unsubscribe.
  • Audience measurement and advertising: 13 months maximum for cookies, 25 months maximum for the data collected.

What are your rights?

In accordance with the GDPR and the French Data Protection Act of 6 January 1978, you have the following rights:

  • Access: to know what data we process about you;
  • Rectification: to correct inaccurate or outdated data;
  • Erasure: to request deletion of your data in the cases provided for by the GDPR (Article 17);
  • Restriction: to request the temporary suspension of processing in the cases provided for by the GDPR (Article 18);
  • Portability: to recover your data, or have it transmitted to a third party, where the processing is based on a contract or on your consent and is automated (Article 20);
  • Objection: to object to processing based on our legitimate interest, and at any time to direct marketing, including profiling related to it;
  • Withdrawal of consent: at any time, without having to justify yourself (for example by unsubscribing from the newsletter or changing your cookie choices), without affecting what was done before the withdrawal;
  • Post-mortem directives: to define what happens to your data after your death.

Cookies

A cookie (or other tracker) is a small text file saved on your computer, tablet or phone when you visit a website. It allows the website to function, to remember your choices or to measure traffic.

Necessary cookies (without consent):

  • tracking your shopping basket (kept for 10 days, to retrieve a basket that was not completed);
  • login to your account, security and remembering your cookie choices;
  • managing newsletter subscription (kept for 1 day).

Audience measurement and advertising cookies (with your consent):

  • Google Analytics: Website traffic statistics;
  • Meta / Facebook Pixel: targeted advertising and direct access to our content on social networks;
